My Own BBQ Sauce

I developed this sauce to complete the brisket cooking process and to serve those who love sauce. However, I encourage you to taste your meat first before adding sauce—you may find you don't need it!

  • 1 - 18 oz bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes & peppers)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Texas BBQ rub
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  3. Reduce heat: Reduce heat to simmer
  4. Cook uncovered: Cook uncovered for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally
